This post is sponsored by Cottonelle but my love for their Clean Care toilet paper and flushable cleansing cloths are my own.
Do you wear underwear with yoga pants?
For me, it depends. Some of my yoga pants and running shorts have a built-in liner so there is no need to wear underwear. I don’t like to have panty lines in my yoga pants, so I would say I prefer to Go Commando when I exercise. Going without undies helps prevent uncomfortable wedgies, too. Most workout clothes are made with moisture-wicking fabrics, so you really don’t NEED to wear underwear.
Reasons to skip the workout underwear.
Comfort. Underwear just gets in the way when you work out. It can also hold in heat and sweat.
No more panty lines. As much as may love your granny panties, you don’t want to show off their outline in tight exercise pants.
Goodbye, wedgies. You simply won’t have a wedgie problem.
At first, it may feel weird to go commando. You will get used to it, though. And eventually, you may LOVE the feeling of freedom you get when you skip the undewear.
How to stay fresh and clean.
It is important to feel fresh and clean when you are sans underwear. I recommend a bathroom routine with Cottonelle Fresh Care Cleansing Cloths and Toilet Paper with CleanRipple texture. This two-step routine makes it easy to get clean “down there” so you can feel confident going commando.
Cottonelle toilet paper has been my favorite for years. It is soft and strong. Combine with the flushable cleansing cloths for an ultimate clean feeling in between showers.

Oh no. I always wear underwear. If I am concerned about panty lines I wear a thong. No big deal. I don’t care how clean Cottonelle makes my bum…I’m still wearing underwear. I would feel really uncomfortable otherwise.

I personally do not with my yoga pants, just because of the overall comfort fact and also it gets really hot and bothersome down in the area when you working out, the last thing you want is discomfort and such. And dealing with ride ups and pulling on them.
