I enjoy packing lunches for my kids. It gives me the chance to surprise them with little things like lunchbox notes and smiley faces on their food! I’m always on the lookout for school lunch and snack ideas my kids will actually eat. This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Horizon, Silk, & So Delicious. The opinions and text are all mine.
Yogurt parfaits are one of my family’s favorite breakfasts at home, so I think they will enjoy eating them at school for lunch.
Horizon Organic makes it easy for me to send nutritious, wholesome foods to school. They have the kind of things my kids (and probably your kids, too) love to eat. Things like Macaroni & Cheese, Honey Snack Grahams, Fruit Snacks and Cheddar Snack Crackers. Most of my grocery shopping gets done in our Smith’s Natural Foods Department, where we can find some of our favorite Horizon Organic products including snacks and milk boxes.
Kids love this delicious Graham, Berries and Yogurt parfait made with Horizon Organic Grahams. One of my sons is a dipper. He likes for me to send his parfait ingredients separately so he can dip his grahams and berries in the Simple Truth Vanilla Yogurt. Yogurt parfaits are a great way to encourage him to eat berries and fruits at school.
My other son doesn’t mind if I go ahead and put the yogurt and berries together in a mason jar. (I pack the grahams separately so they don’t get soggy in the yogurt.) When he’s ready to eat, all he has to do is add the grahams and stir to eat with a spoon.
Would your child enjoy a Back To School Berries and Yogurt Parfait? The recipe is simple, with just 3 ingredients: Horizon Organic Honey Snack Grahams, Simple Truth Vanilla Yogurt and Berries.
- 17 Horizon Organic Honey Snack Grahams
- 1/2 cup Vanilla Yogurt
- 1/2 cup Berries
- If preparing in a divided container: Place each ingredient in a separate part of container until ready to eat. Kids can dip berries and grahams into yogurt or mix all ingredients together and eat with a spoon.
- If preparing in a lidded jar or bowl: Layer yogurt and berries on top of each other. Pack grahams in a separate container so they do not get soggy. Kids can add grahams to yogurt and berries when they are ready to eat.

Yum! I do yogurt, berries and granola. I have not done it with snack grahams, that is a great alternative for my kids!

That looks so yummy! I love that it’s made with yogurt instead of pudding. That makes it so much healthier. This is a great way to have a treat and still maintain a healthy lifestyle.
