What do you get when you pair potted bulbs with Peeps? The perfect Easter centerpiece! This is an easy Easter craft you can enjoy doing by yourself or with your kids. Potted bulbs are beautiful additions to any home’s decor. Plus, you can purchase them just about anywhere this time of year: grocery stores, garden centers and flower shops.
Once the Easter holidays are over, you can repot the bulbs into another container. You may already have a favorite container that matches your home or you may want to spice things up a bit by using a brightly colored container. Either way, potted bulbs will bloom beautifully year after year with the proper care.
Check out the amazing Do-It-Yourself Easter Tulips and Peeps Centerpieces featured below. Each one arranges colorful potted bulbs planted in a vase, and then places that vase into a larger vase surrounded by colorful candies and the traditional Easter favorite marshmallow Peeps. You really can’t go wrong with this project. And it’s a great way to get the kids involved with Easter decorations…if they don’t eat the candy first! See my Easter Tulips and Peeps Centerpiece.

Another simple DIY potted bulb centerpiece project to consider includes placing cut flowers in a clear vase with tinted water. Red and white tulips are loosely arranged in a vase, and the water is tinted red to match. Of course, you can try this at home with flowers of any color – and customize your water by adding drops of food coloring until it is just the right shade. Just keep in mind that cut flowers will eventually wilt and need to be replaced.
